Policy

All students must wear the school uniform as set out in the school agenda (below). There are a number of reasons for wearing a school uniform. In part, as an academic school, the uniform is intended to focus our students’ attention on the pursuit of excellence in their schoolwork rather than on the pursuit of the latest fashion. In part, the uniform helps to reinforce the identity of the school and the attitudes and orientation that the school aims to instill in its students.

The uniform alters gradually as students move up the school. Lower and Middle School uniform is white and grey, with Alberta tartan and dark green accents. Upper School uniform is formal, white and black. The Physical Education uniform is black and grey, open to students in Middle and Upper Schools.

All students are expected to dress modestly. Uniforms should be clean and pressed. It is a good idea to label articles of clothing with an indelible marker. Students MUST be wearing their full uniform when they arrive each day at school. Returning students must come in uniform from the first day onward. The students are responsible to make sure they have everything from their proper shoes to their appropriate ties and shirts tucked before entering the school. The office will no longer have ties to lend to students. The school reserves the right to address students’ adherence to the uniform policy set in place as per the Uniform Protocol (April 2022).

New Students and Kindergarten students please contact TOP Marks below to order uniforms.
